Swartland Medical Centre is a licensed dispensing practice. Collect your prescriptions directly from us — acute and chronic medications dispensed on-site.
Convenient In-House Dispensing
As a licensed dispensing practice, we provide both acute and chronic medications directly from our dispensary room — saving you an additional trip to the pharmacy.
Acute Prescriptions
Medications for acute illnesses are dispensed immediately after your consultation — antibiotics, pain medication, short-course treatments and more.
Chronic Refills
Regular chronic medications can be renewed via our online chronic refill request form, subject to your doctor's review and approval.
Pre-Order Collections
Chronic patients can call ahead to pre-order and then collect at a convenient time during our opening hours.

We stock a comprehensive range of generic and originator chronic medications. Our dispensary team is trained to assist with medication queries.
- Antihypertensives (e.g. Amlodipine, Losartan, Enalapril, Bisoprolol)
- Antidiabetics (e.g. Metformin, Glibenclamide, Sitagliptin)
- Insulin (various types)
- Statins (e.g. Atorvastatin, Rosuvastatin, Simvastatin)
