Swartland Medical Centre is a dispensing practice of specialist family physicians located at 15 Tuin Street, Malmesbury. We have been the trusted medical home for families across the Swartland region — including Malmesbury, Moorreesberg, Darling, and Riebeek-Kasteel — for over 20 years.
We are more than a general practice. With two specialist Family Physicians, a comprehensive nursing clinic, an in-house dispensary, and a growing multidisciplinary team, we provide a full spectrum of primary healthcare services — from newborn check-ups to palliative care.

Specialist Family Physician & Co-Director
Dr Beukes is a founding partner of the practice with over 20 years of experience serving the Malmesbury community. He completed his specialist training in Family Medicine and is passionate about continuity of care, chronic disease management, and building long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Dr Nel is a specialist family physician known for his thoroughness and patient-centred approach. He has a special interest in complex chronic disease management and is one of the leading family physicians in the Swartland region. Patients often describe him as approachable, empathetic, and reliable.

Dr du Plessis joined the practice and quickly became a valued member of the clinical team. She has a particular interest in women's health and child health, bringing compassion and clinical rigour to every consultation.
